Mile Post Markers

Mile Post Markers are similar to highway mile markers and can be identified from a physical inspection of the property. Generally speaking, railroad mileposts are one mile apart.

If you can not locate a milepost marker, other information can be provided. Some examples include a legal description, distance from a highway, city street, or a bridge. The more information you provide the easier it is to process your request.
