We conduct panel interviews with the sole intent of matching your skills and attributes to the functions of the position. We know that interviews can be stressful for people, but we try to bring out the best in you. Our interviews are designed to provide you with more specific information about our company and the position, while affording you an opportunity to put forth your qualifications for consideration.
Your employment history will be reviewed. A thorough reference check and full criminal record review will be conducted. Your driving record will also be reviewed for traffic convictions, DUI and any moving violations you were cited for. Depending on specific job functions, you may also be asked to authorize a credit check.
Based on results from the background check, we may make a conditional job offer. All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of the post-offer requirements.
This process allows Montana Rail Link to match your physical capabilities to the physical requirements of the job.
We will schedule and pay for your appointment. Upon arrival at the facility, you will be asked to show your picture identification card. You will then need to complete a Health History Questionnaire prior to meeting with the health care provider.
The physical exam is correlated to the Job Analysis for each position and may include testing to determine your ability to meet the physical requirements of the position. A mandatory drug screen is also part of this process. Your results will be reviewed by a professional medical provider, and you will be contacted by our Human Resources Department to inform you of the recommendation.
You must be able to verify High School Diploma, GED or higher education from an accredited institution. You will be asked to provide this documentation on the first day you report to work.
